I'll back up Duncan here...

He may get bug eyed, but Duncan isn't a big flopper (like his Argentinian teammate) and doesn't act like his leg is broken if a mosquito shits on it.

When the buzzer sounded last night and LeBron laid on the court because of exhaustion, I had to laugh. It took 3 teammates and about 20 seconds for him to gather the strength to stand up. I think he then did the post game interview sitting down. You'd have thought he just finished the Ironman triathlon.

He learned that move at the Kellen Winslow, Sr. School of Acting.

Duncan flails his arms every single time he tries to finish at the rim and there's even a tiny bit of contact.

I don't doubt that Lebron was hurting and in pain. But, when he dropped to the floor after the buzzer , was helped up by three teammates and then was able to go beast mode and do an interview while cracking a joke and a smile and then found the strength to walk off the court unassisted while stopping and doing the handshake routine with 3 more players it solidified him as the greatest for me.

All joking aside, all I could think when he dropped and what came after that was - be a fricking man, what happened to athletes who went out of their way to not show any weakness. Lebron would give a face or hobble like he was hurt and wouldn't return for the series, then shake off the coach and play along like nothing happened. Act like a man, not a little girl Lebron.

No, just attention whoring. For a matter of fact he is running a close race with Michelle Beadle for the biggest attention whore on the planet lol.

Dear god.

Are you forgetting Manny Ramirez? What about Allen Iverson? Heck, Starberry almost offed himself on a Justin.TV station.

The hyperbole of this board is one of the biggest reasons for the downfall.

That joke wasn't funny, and isn't needed.

Duncan cries after every single play. No one complains about a call as much as Duncan

How a real man responds to pain

Torn Achilles? He's walking off on his own terms

Torn rotator cuff? Meh - play left handed...

LINK

Broken shooting hand?

No problem. Finish season and win a championship.

Kobe doesn't say anything. Just does what an old school man does. Fights through it on his own terms.

I present to you the GOAT millennial:

Durant does it too. In fact, they all do for the most part. I just think people selectively calling one player a whiner or flipper or overdramatic while ignoring all of the other players is disingenuous.

No, but he is getting annoying.

Jordan whined a lot to officials. But he wasn't so dramatic wanting everyone to know every little problem he had or every time he was hurting a little bit.

Kobe whines less than either and Kobe never shows pain unless it is for real. Kobe is a cold hearted mean bastard that hates everyone and is pissed the frick off 95% of the time on the court.

Mamba is still my favorite because he has as much killer attitude as Jordan, and is tougher and meaner than either Jordan or LeBron.

LeBron is probably the best of the three though. He is just getting annoying.

fricking-A. Kobe is one tough SOB. Dude literally cannot raise his right arm to take a shot due to the torn rotator cuff. Does he come out? No. Son of a bitch just rises up and sinks a one arm-ed left handed 22 foot jumper.

Torn Achilles. He stays in, shoots free throws, walks off with a slight limp and emotionless face even though his damn Achilles is TORN!

I dunno about the rape thing, but on the court the Black Mamba is the one I will always respect most.

Kobe is way tougher than LeBron, that's not even debatable.

I tore my Achilles in late December and walked home from the bar right after I did it! To be fair though on a hammeredness scale of 1-10 I was about a 14 and I sure wasn't walking much the next few weeks.

I couldn't help but laugh at his post game interview. When the reporter started talking, it looked like he was lulled to sleep.

FWIW, I didn't like Lebron, but now pull for him for the most part.
