You missed when he blocked the 7 foot Speight jump shot last night?

Currently or all time? Clearly he is one of the best of the best currently, clearly is nowhere in the picture for best all time.

His career record is posted in this thread. It is utterly outstanding

Congrats on that 1 play!!! I guess that warranted taking a few plays off then, ho hum.

Currently(best of the best of the last 10-15 years). He's not in tier 1, rather obviously IMO. There aren't many precedents for a player like him and some of the things he and his team have done in recent memory that would lead any of us to believe he can be the #1 guy on a title team.

Career records dont make the player.

AC Green has the same amount of playoff wins as Jerry West and Dwyane Wade. AC Green average under double digits for his career.

Harden's OKC time was a great situation to be put into.

Would you also argue that Robert Horry is one of the best players of all time because he has 7 titles?

He amuses me.

Kind of like the rockets in general, tbh

I agree we are giving the rockets too much attention. No team that is the 3rd best in their own state should get this much attention.

On the the games tonight. Spurs roll. And I think the Hawks win comfortably. Last game put a little scare into them.

Pound for pound he was one of the best defenders in the league.

Iverson, for those who watched the Sixers, was allowed to gamble in the passing lanes while the rest of the team covered up for him.

How so? Carmelo is pretty much just a scorer who rebounds. He's never pretended to be anything he's not. No one has any illusions of him being anything more than that. I could argue that he's a better form of Harden. At least Melo gives a damn from time to time about playing defense

Melo was getting all the love way before harden. People started realizing he wasn't that good and some would say he's a detriment to the teams he has been on.

Durant hasnt won shite either.

Robert Horry did not have the large role that Harden has had.

Bad comparison on your part.

Since Harden has been in HOU as the team leader and best player HOU has won 60% of their games. The only NBA franchise with a better winning % than Harden in Houston is the Lakers.

He's a really good player, only a couple of dudes who shouldn't be taken seriously are saying he's not a good player, maybe even just 1 dude.

This is that arbitrary bullshite you like to throw out. Where are you figuring this starting point? Are you including playoffs? Are you excluding games Harden didn't play?

Regular season HOU average winning percentage since the advent of Harden is .598

San Antonio's average winning % over the same span is .738. Unless my quick math is wrong.

ETA: I did average winning percentage. Moving too quickly and I'm working on averaging some numbers at work

Pretty sure he's comparing the stretch Harden has been in Houston vs teams all time records
