It’s a team accomplishment. Quarterbacks get way too much credit for Super Bowl wins. Dan Marino might have been the best pure quarterback to ever play the position and he never won one, while Trent Dilfer wouldn’t crack most people’s top 100 lists and he has a ring.

As for OP’s question…absolutely not. Even taking out guys like Manning and Unitas who were bad by that point due to their age…

Dilfer
Dilfer had more NFL starts, but only because he was a 1st round pick. Each made a pro bowl, back when being selected to one still meant something.
I’d put Dilfer overall worse than Hostetler.

It is Dilfer and its not even close.
People will say, we put men on the moon, you can accomplish anything in this country.
I see a better example as, Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl as a starting QB, you can accomplish anything in this country.

Peyton Manning was worse than Dilfer and everybody else. He could barely throw the ball at that point.

Peyton was so damn bad his last year. So damn bad.
He also didn't play like 6 games, right?
Regardless, he had 9 TDs and 17 INTs and completed less than 60% of his passes with less than 6 YPA. That's brutal

Could we argue Peyton's neck/shoulder were up with the worse? His football mind still could read the field.
Some of the QBs now don't seem to have a feel for what's happening, they just run into their own players or can't drill a short pass.
