With that being said, losing in the finals isn't a foregone conclusion.

Losing in the Finals to a team with 4 All-Pro players is only damaging to someone's legacy in the eyes of foolish people.

Going to the finals 8 years in a row would be one of the most impressive things in MBA history. Get out of here with that nonsense

It would help if he did lose the series and Boston went on a run in the East the next few years while we see Bron start to age... That way we can rationalize it as a "passing of the torch" type of series, even though Bron personally shouldn't be near that point.

It's a dumb critique. Losing early is never better than losing late. Period.

No one with any semblance of rationality and/or basic reasoning skills would hold any of these losses to the Warriors against him.

Amazingly, it seems like there are retards out there who believe that you could swap LeBron with Jordan on this current Cavs team and they'd suddenly be favorites.

Newsflash for the nostalgic crowd: Golden State would beat Jordan's Bulls in 5

Actually having to take the MBA finals 8 years in a row would be very unimpressive. I think it’s clear at that point that you just aren’t post grad material

Imagines thinking losing is better for a legacy than winnings and lacking the self awareness to realize that is something you probably shouldn't say out loud.

Reggie Miller's Pacers took them to 7.

Also, this version of Golden State is significantly better than any of those Bulls' Finals opponents were.

Amazingly enough, that is the logic.

Losing 6 finals does not sound as good as winning 6 finals for sure. But going to 9 finals in your career is impressive as hell. No doubt.

No reasonable person will be able to criticize anyone for losing to GS.

Losing to a team that is missing its two best players? That's another story.

According to this board, losing to them in the Finals is extremely damning to his legacy even though they would have wiped the floor with Jordan's Bulls teams, too.
