Is it possible that losing this series would be better for Lebron's legacy?

A sixth Finals loss seems almost inevitable barring devastating injuries to the Warriors and that is generally his most frequent critique. OTOH, a conference finals loss will be far less memorable.

Really illustrates how silly that argument is

The fact that is even a question goes to show how absurdly stupid that argument is.

Winning yet another ECF should do nothing but help the man’s legacy but it wouldn’t.

Failing again on the biggest stage would def. not help his legacy.

There’s exactly zero hall of famers who would beat the warriors with this cavs team

You can’t make this stuff up. The king would be better off losing. Lol comical

Winning yet another ECF

But that's a team accomplishment.

I'm not sure why people are ridiculing the OP. What he posted is a fact.

It's not right, but that's definitely how people view this shite...i.e legacy.

With that being said, losing in the finals isn't a foregone conclusion.

If he was the GOAT, his team wouldn’t be so weak. People would want to play with him.

I don't like being one of those people but the only way LeBron wins more rings in the near future is if he goes to Houston.

It’s either lose in the finals or lose in the conference finals.

This team will get slapped by GS.

Was that the year without Kevin Durant on the roster and the year the Cavs weren’t losing by 30 in the eastern conference playoffs?

No, but everyone thought that GS would win.
As little as those odds are, they have lebron. That alone makes up for a lot of deficiencies.
Now of course they have to get there first.
