It was a full crowd until Iowa busted it open in the third. It wasn't a two score game until very very late which by that time everyone knew it was over

Why preseason rankings suck. Iowa State had no business being a Top-10 team after squeaking by UNI.
Nonetheless, Iowa has the best wins in the B1G through two weeks. A division title this year ties them with NW for second-most in the West.

No, Iowa goes through 4-5 year cycles. Weak favorable schedule and they go to a good bowl vs an elite team and get completely embarrassed. The next year they fall back to 8-5.
Iowa’s team is completely loaded with 3 star players. They need an easy schedule to have a great record.

Iowa definitely isn't the flashiest team but they play hard, disciplined football and don't really beat themselves. Yesterday was an impressive win. That was a hostile environment against a good football team.

Kirk does a really good job there, and every time he wins 8-9 games, he renegotiates his deal. He's renegotiated so many times, that in latest deal, he gets use of the States private plane.
