He’s a lock to get in.

If he gets in it's off those 2 plays where he scrambled broke some tackles and the guy stuck it to his helmet and the manningham sideline catch. That was an incredible throw at least.

He's lucky Asante Samuel dropped that interception.

If Terrell Davis is in based on his postseason performances, Eli should be as well

Hell, Joe Namath only won 1 and the Jets defense won that one - that New York thing carries a lot of weight.

Pretty much most SB winning QBs get in...except Jim Plunkett who won two just like Eli.

But while Plunkett sits on the sidelines of HOF for decades, Eli will get in pretty easily because of his last name and he beat the '07 Patriots.

Well Plunkett beat the #1 highest scoring offense in his SB win against..the 1983 Redskins and the #1 scoring defense in the 1980 Eagles.

But he hasn't really sniffed the HOF and he's the ONLY 2-time winning SB QB to NOT be inducted into the HOF.

Career 84.1 passer rating
1.5 TDs for every 1 pick
0 First or Second Team All-Pros
In his prime was #6-10th best at his position

Will? Probably
Should? Absofrickinglutely not

Jim Plunkett should be in the HOF. Without question. I’m not sure Eli even makes the NFL if his name was not Manning. He was decent at best.

If Terrell Davis is in based on his postseason performances,
Davis was also a 3x 1st team All-Pro, 2x NFL OPOY, and won NFL MVP. Davis had 3 regular seasons where he was a top 3 RB (2 in which he was the best). Eli had zero seasons leading the league in any major passing category except INTs and had maybe one season as even a top 5 QB. They’re not really comparable

But Eli will get in so it doesn’t matter

I think so. Two Super Bowl rings, even though he wasn’t as talented as Peyton

Probably could’ve won the Heisman as Chad Powers.
