10 years ago it seems only Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia could only win it all.

Now, it seems like there's 10-12 teams that can win it at all.

More parity = better football right?

It’s better than ever look at the ratings

10 years ago UGA wasn’t even relevant in the grand scheme of things.

I don’t really consider more teams being able to win a national championship a better product overall week in and out. There is no more weekly living in the moment like there was in the past.

The sport now orbits around an ever expanding soulless playoff system which just kinda makes it like every other sport.

10 years ago the playoffs were Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma what felt like every fricking year.

CFB now is much better.

Yep, after the Army Navy Game, there were only three more games between those four teams. No other high profile matchups on NYD. CFB is now just worse NFL.

It’s minor league football. Better players on more teams no salary cap. It’s just way harder to give a FUK.

99% of actual college football fans since the 70's 80's 90's and early 2000's think the sport is so much worse since 2020.

More people watching = more people having access to televisions and the college football product. Over 4.7 million people graduate from college every year. So that means over the course of 10 years that's an extra 50 million more eyes on college football. Common sense.

Personally I long for the days of no playoffs or even the 4 team playoff

The parity is good.

What's worse is everything else

sec fans are livid they’re not the only ones allowed to pay players now. Who knows when the next sec championship will be as they all fall apart

Legally I don’t think they should be able to call it “college” football anymore in the P4 conferences

In some ways it's better, in others it's worse.

I don't mind the portal or NIL, but the expanded playoffs has taken a lot of luster off the regular season, particularly rivalry week.

Overall, that alone has made me a lot less interested in watching CFB.
