Uh he could do whatever the hell he wanted to at anytime on the field.

I didn't like the lions but liked watching him dominate. I was young when Rice was around but I remember watching him play.

I don't remember sitting and watching a receiver dictate the way he did. He was a monster.

Yes and it’s a shame the lions made him retire early just like sanders

He was the best at his position for multiple years.
Plus, did you watch him play?
Not even a question.

Well IF you were born at the time and seen him play week after week I would hope you would say yes to this.

Question wasn't directed to me, was directed to you, PEEJ

Yeah, there's a video about him talking about how he basically quit because of the Lions. If you have any potential there is no reason to play there under their ownership. They don't care about you there.

He just retired much earlier than most. He only played for 9 seasons in the NFL. If he had been on a better team he probably would have played longer.

Jerry Rice for comparison played 20 seasons in the NFL.

You think Calvin Johnson is the 3rd best receiver all time??

Jerry Rice and Randy Moss are the obvious 1 and 2

No he isn't. Calvin Johnson's best was better than Julio's best. Johnson was a little bigger, a little faster, and had better hands than Julio.

Re-configure those numbers to per season average.

Then why after 10 seasons does julio average over 10% more yards receiving per game? That's a healthy sized gap.

Assuming this is a troll to leave Rice out.

If not please don't reproduce, or at the least do your duty to the species to ensure your spawn are sterilized.

Having other weapons around him means you can’t key only off him.

For most of the time he was in Detroit, he WAS the offense.

Detroit had two all time greats retire because they got tired of losing.

Can another team say that?

Rice had stats.. sure. That gets him n top 3. No one in any draft in their prime is taking rice over moss or megatron. Not a single gm

At least those players became all-time greats playing for the Lions, with the exception of Broadway Joe, can't say that for the JETS

I'd probably take Rice or Megatron, as great as Moss was, he's too much of a headache for a team to endure
