Have you ever had a hangnail? Do you know how painful they are?

Easy to talk tough and 2nd guess on a message board.

He's going to be the next Andrew Luck the way the Bengals have been protecting him over his career.

Exactly. It's year 4 and they still can't put together a decent oline for him. Burrow and Allen won't last long at this rate.

He's been to a Super Bowl and has had more playoff success than Dak Prescott

Nah.

A healthy burrow as the lead guy makes you a conference championship/super bowl contender.

A healthy Davis as the lead guy makes you a lottery team.

Burrow is a leader of men as well as an elite player. Anthony Davis is just an elite player.

There is a difference. In terms of injuries, yeah they unfortunately may be alike. Difference is it really isn't Burrow being brittle, it's his team letting him take shots constantly the first few years of his career.

Are we still going with this fiction Swamptards keep pushing? The Bengals OL isn't great, but it's nowhere near the disaster we've been told it is on here to absolve Jeaux of any responsibility for his poor play. The Bengals unit has the 5th-lowest pressure rate in the league.

This is great example of the broken clock being right twice a day. You are right about the Bengals OL it’s not bad. There is a mythology out there that if the OL is bad the QB is more likely to get hurt and have a shorter career. There’s no proof of that and sacks are not 100% on the OL.

But like many gumptards and LSU haters including the OP you are just here to troll LSU fans. First of all when has Burrow played poorly for more than a game or 2? The start of this year he was bad and the anti-LSU tards were blaming it on the contract. But th reason was he was not healthy. He hurt his calf in camp, running and was untouched so not an OL issue. He was probably rushed back but once healthy, including last night he’s been his usually great self.

The Calf injury and the original hand injury also appears to be non contact. Not everything Burrow has to be blamed on someone else

Allen will more likely go down the Cam Newton road. Great until he falls off of a cliff because his body breaks down from a culmination of hits.

Allen needs to start protecting himself more.

Allen is what he is. Protecting himself takes away who he is

And Cam only had 2 seasons in his entire career over 90 passer rating. Allen is about to have his 4th in 6 years…..Real comparable

This board is full retard with Josh Allen, it’s weird

It’s not a myth to say the more you get hit the greater your chances are of getting hurt.

That’s like saying the more you drive the greater your chances on getting killed in a car wreck. The more you use the stairs the greater the chances you fall down the stairs. Technically it’s true I guess but not in the way most of you think, it’s not inevitable.

There is no evidence that QBs getting sacked more get hurt more. Burrow hurt his calf in the practice rolling out, not getting hit.
