Immediately dismiss anyone that says catcher. Just move on.

It was a signal for the pitch he was trying to get, and honestly, it's not that big of a deal.

It could be someone who had a slight tell, or it could be from video evidence of the sign.

It won't matter when it comes playoff time; when it counts.

He's a juicer, but is that even considered cheating anymore?

95%. Of nfl players are juicing, yet bae ball players should be raked over the coals for doing it

I'm sure this will get no traction on this board

The closest thing this board has for baseball's answer to the great LeBron James and the NBA.

If Judge has a history of staring at the bench I might get some of this nonsense, but he basically stands in the box and gets on about his business.

You are also talking about Toronto which has an inferiority complex about as large as Lake Ontario.

On a brighter note, it was great to see the Yankees shut the big mouth of Manoah who is struggling this year. They got to him early and often. Roll Tide!!!!

Judge was definitely lying as you can see by his body language, but he was not cheating. I mean, Jackson threw slider, slider, slider, slider, slider, hung slider. Judge was obviously looking for a slider that was not going to break, and he got one, and did his thing. Toronto was awful last night all around. I love watching Manure play like a AA pitcher.

I'm getting a hearty belly laugh from the Twitter Yankees fans saying "Judge ain't never done no wrong. You hang a slider there and it's gon get crushed. No cheating necessary"

Isn't it ironic? Don't ya think?

In all honesty, I was really just playing along with the "Judge is cheating" concept because it was kinda cute and ironic.

But this ridiculous bullshite excuse now makes me really believe he is up to something. That is absolute embarrassing to him that he would say that and insulting to the intelligence of the rest of us.

If the dugout is getting some sort of tell and was sending Judge signals then he may also go with this type of BS excuse because he doesn't want the opposing team to know they figured out the pitches. The question should be, do any of the other right handers look into the dugout. If most are looking in, the dugout is signaling pitches.

If no one else looks (esp in all of Judge's other ABs), then this is just a weird glance off situation and he may have picked up on a teammate chirping.

Pitcher should have thrown at his head if he has that much of an issue with it.

I expect him to get beaned today.

It’s not cheating if the pitcher is tipping his stuff.

It’s like a QB screaming the play in the huddle. If the defense hears it, it’s not cheating.

2-way street buddy. You throw at Aaron Judge and it will be Vladimir Guerrero Jr that gets one across the noggin.

This is clearly what’s happening.

Right before this AB he was going over signals with his dugout. They were relaying pitch tips to him.

This isn’t cheating.

People who read Judges explanation and concluded with certainty that he’s lying are blinded by hate.

The Blue Jays manager buying into this and commenting publicly is as bush league as it gets.

I wouldn’t call it cheating, but it is certainly frowned upon once you step into the batter’s box.

Pitcher has control of the situation in that moment and batters should know better. No different than if somebody would try to time up a pitcher in the dirt before an inning. If you step in the dirt, that is the pitcher’s domain.

Also hard to tip pitches when you are a righty and it’s the 1B coach that he’d be getting signals from. No chance he is looking at the dugout with the layout in Toronto.

I think the Astros are scum for their cheating crap, same with Judge here. I don’t blame anybody that throws at him. Anybody that doesn’t have an issue with this, should never say a bad thing about the Astros.

I don't get how this stuff comes up with the switch to electronic signaling. The catcher sends the signal and that's that.

Maybe the Bluejays need to visit Best Buy.

I guess you get into the layers and nuances of deciphering pitches. Stealing signs and identifying tells has always been a thing so I guess it comes down to when you feel it should be done.

A few years back, our guys identified a tell on Tyler Glasnow from the placement of his glove. Bregman came around to score and you can see him tell Correa "if it's down curveball, up fastball." So Correa goes to the plate with that information.

Is it crossing the line of integrity if the bench (or 1B coach) is giving Judge the pitch? Or is that in line with a baserunner stealing signs and relaying thr pitch?
