Is #11 seed Oregon in trouble against Yale’s star P Ohman on Saturday night?

Every year there’s some lightly-discussed team with one awesome pitcher who puts the host into the losers bracket on day one

I'm sure they're terrified of a pitcher with an ERA north of 5. Yale could win because baseball is weird like that, but to act like this guy is some amazing pitcher with stuff no one can hit is ridiculous.

Also, what's the obsession with this guy amongst a few of you? Saw he was mentioned in another thread with almost the same wording as in the title. Or, was that you as well?

I remember him being mentioned after last season ended as an arm people wanted to grab out the portal. He had a much more impressive freshman year but apparently he stuck it out at Yale. Sounds like he had a sophomore slump. Would’ve fit right in with our pitching staff

That Oregon regional was awesome. First and only time LSU has won a regional or super regional away from the Box since 1989. And they did it from the losers bracket.

Ah, ok. Was wondering what the connection was. Thanks WDT.
