ESPN Article

TNT will still independently produce the show which will be broadcast on ESPN.

Great forward thinking on both sides here!

That is pretty shocking. Kudos to them for making that happen.

Is Chuck staying or retiring?

I see he will be one at least for next year but he always said he'd be retired at this age so I wonder how long he'll continue doing it.

Hopefully ESPN gives them as much creative freedom as Turner did

ESPN has no hand in the production other than providing a vehicle to broadcast it. Nothing will change other than the channel.

I'm glad ESPN listened to the people. No matter how much they tried, they could never replicate Inside the NBA.

Basically what espn does for McAfee and UFC. They are essentially just platforming another company's production and paying them for the rights to their show/broadcast. It's also why those brands are so successful.

Espn can't produce anything in house worth a shite, so now they are essentially just a licensing/distribution platform. And we are all better for itm

Will they run a ticker at the bottom with a disclaimer, like they do for Pat McAfee's show?

I think the biggest thing here is the ABC/ESPN broadcasting. Viewership should skyrocket!
