I could be talked into just about any QB, it is all relative to what we give up for them more than anything.
Cousins is probably the only one that warrants a big deal. I would not give up more than a 3rd for Fields and I wouldn't pay him for anything more than Top 10-15 QB salary.

Kirk Cousins will be another Russell Wilson terrible contract at this age 
he doesn’t make any team into a contender. If you’re cool with winning 8-9 games, sure he’s your guy.

I have lived in Atlanta for a long time. But ok. I have never met a white person that cares what race their QB is, as long as they win. So I don't see why fans would want a lesser player just because of race. But I won't go any deeper into that.
Back to Cousins vs Fields. You would rather pay Cousins 90M for the next two years (with him still recovering from injury initially, so unable to pass a physical) over trading a 3rd round pick and paying Fields 30M?

Yes because a healthy Cousins is far better than Fields. And if Cousins can’t pass a physical than pretty sure we aren’t signing him. Falcons will make sure he can pass one before he gets a deal.

I was hoping they'd get Fields and Kirk would go to a team that might have a chance of winning. It would suck for Cousins to go from loser to loser.

Paying Fields anything of value is a sure fire way to torpedo a team. He’s an absolutely terrible qb.

There is a section of the fanbase that wants and will only accept a QB like Vick. (Black/dual threat). This same section of the fanbase never accepted Matt Ryan due to the fact that he didn't fit their mold. I know I'm bringing race into the conversation but those are the cold facts.

Just mention Roddy White to anybody that doesn't think Matt Ryan was better than Vick. He was looking like a bust with Vick then his career instantly took off when Matt came in.
