Anybody who actually watched both play in college, other than AU fans, will say Herschel. It's not really a contest.

Herschel had no change of direction, so, for this reason only, Bo. But I'd take Dalton Hilliard and be just as happy.

What sucks for Herschel is that his professional prime was spent in the USFL. If there was just a "pro football HOF" instead of NFL HOF, he'd be in.

Bo Jackson had 4,575 career all-purpose yards in 4 years at Auburn. Herschel Walker had 5,259 RUSHING yards in just three years.

Herschel Walker had nearly 1,000 more yards in one less season than Bo Jackson. He also scored six more touchdowns in fewer seasons. But Jackson did have a better YPC average (5.3 vs. 6.6).
