Imagine trading two 3rd round picks and a 4th round pick to move up one spot to pick Trubisky over Mahomes and Watson

That play was unreal . . . and NOT scored a TD - though it was and not reviewed.

He threw a TD on the very next play.

At least they didn’t trade one spot up to get him or anything

While it’s fricking hilarious he did that i do believe that whoever the bears ended up choosing would’ve been set up to fail.

Dabo tried to tell the NFL.

For those scouts who fall in love with measurables, Trubisky was clearly the guy.

Love Watson... great player, better person. He just has that dog in him, that will to be great. He holds on to the ball too long and takes too many hits, but he continues to get better each year.

I think NFL GMs want to prove to the public they have an eye for talent and often convince themselves mediocre college players will turn into great pros based on their measurables. Too often do you see very questionable picks early that have bust written all over it.

He'd be hurt by week 5, they wouldn't sniff a SB with him either.

Just another example of NFL GM's letting the scouts overthink things. You have an elite college talent and winner who just destroyed Alabama's NFL level defense available but instead you take a one year starter with an average career at UNC because he has a strong arm and "can make all the NFL throws."

You have to realllly over think to make such a determination.
