They should just set up a couple different levels of leagues and have relegation up and down like European soccer. Would make it super interesting.
Absolutely not. Definitely not with how current tv contracts are constructed. I want my team to play our rivals every year, not some teams from halfway across the country or farther that I don’t give a hot mouse fart about.

Nah, that’s just what crappy teams say.
I'm a Georgia fan. Georgia isn't a crappy team.

The epic rivalry of oregon state and wazzu that was tradition filled and must watch TV
I guess those epic USC/Rutgers and UCLA/Maryland showdowns will get it done for you.
If not, maybe the intensely heated Cal/SMU or Stanford/Boston College battles will.

Miss St would be the first to go in the SEC. Forever little bro in...MS...
Ole Miss is going straight with them.
There is absolutely no need for a P2 program in the worst state.

It amazes me how many people are so hell-bent and supportive of destroying college sports and turning them into carbon copies of the sterile, corporate pro leagues.

People are rooting for this? I dont think I’ve ever seen someone support it.

The fact that you think baseball is the same as football is proving my point.

Which schools currently in P2 should be worried? Bottom half of Big 10,State, South Carolina, Vandy, who else
Not a single SeC school would be left out unless they chose to be.

Also for every game Ohio State wins, someone has to lose one
True. Teams like Ohio State made their rep beating up on conference cupcakes.

If you haven’t noticed, mizzou is feasting on the new era of college sports. Top 10ish in NIL, t20 tv market. Now we’re starting to win like a national football program. If there is a new super league, I bet you mizzou is high on the list to be called on. 10 years ago, you may have been correct
Yet you haven’t won anything
This sounds like Texas fans

Exactly. Cry me a River Illinois. You sit in a decently hot recruiting bed 2 hours from Chicago and Indy, 3 hours from STL and Louisville. Plenty of talent to go around. Memorial Stadium is a complete dump. No one to blame but themselves for not investing back into the program all these years. Look at NW. They actually give a shite and they’ve been a way better program over the past three decades. Should be the other way around.

Georgia vs UT will be interesting

Schools that used to be lower-mid tier in their conference will become the new Vandy or Rutgers and win 1-2 conference games a year without shittier teams to get wins over.
Which schools currently in P2 should be worried?

Sounds like another team who also will get the call

Not true! Talents will be passed around and therefore plenty of top talents to compete with everyone else. Just like the NFL.

If that’s going to happen I’d rather a promotion / relegation format

I’ll be very interested in seeing the percentages of NFL draftees coming from the Big Ten and SEC in five years

I mean Tulane has more SEC football championships that MSU so I guess they should be in the SEC.
