If you’re Kwahi and you win tonight, do you re-sign?

You’ve got a ring and achieved the top of the mountain and it will never get any better with the Raptors

I think it’s like a new coach winning a title in their first year. If they go one and done the next year then the bar has been set and everyone’s pissed

Part of me thinks he checks that off the list and starts fresh somewhere else if he wins.

People talk about markets but he’d essentially be the superstar for all of Canada. He’s on a fantastic team with a lot of nice pieces. I don’t see why he wouldn’t resign.

Even if Kawhi badly wants to be a Laker, he should still re-sign a one-and-one deal with Toronto so he can see if the Lakers can get their shite together.

I was In Toronto last week and many restaurants had “Kawhi eats here free” stickers. The atmosphere outside the court is amazing. I think he signs a deal to stay with the Raptors.

Yes, I’d leave.

I’d already have two rings and two finals MVPs. Why not go back home & turn the Lakers into contenders again? He’d be a Laker legend

The Wizards are apparently offering Masai Uriji a monstrous deal with ownership stake and control of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the company that owns the Wizards, Caps AND Capitol One Arena. If Uriji leaves the Raptors, Kawhi would have a pretty good reason to move to another team.

I’m sure if he went to LA and won a title it would be because of Lebron.....

Kawhi is an odd fellow. I wouldn't want to try to predict what he's going to do.

Based off what? LeBron is still one of the elite players in the world, they have quite a few young pieces and the #4 pick in this years draft. I'd say that LeBron/Kawhi would easily make the LAL contenders again especially if KD is leaving GSW.

They are instantly a non-disaster if he signs though

I dont see him signing with the Lakers, but if he does that franchise is now one of the favorites to win the title, not a disaster
