re: If you thought that Jeanty should’ve won the Heisman instead of Hunter, you’re a racist.

You could do the same thing if you wanted to.
But then it'd be racist.
Assuming the person you responded to is white that is.

Maybe I’m retarded but isn’t Ashton Jeanty black?
Yes
I don't know why it took two pages for someone to point this out. Maybe they're assuming based on the name Ashton or something?

Any dislike of Hunter is coming from the people that dont like Sanders "look at me" routine. Hunter himself seems like a great person and doesnt really seem comfortable with all of the BS hype and self promotion that Coach Prime brings into the mix.
in the broadcast Saturday night, the first three players were interviewed by Marty McRedneck and all three had their parents on stage with them. It was just as big of a moment for their mom and dad as them. Hunter comes onstage for his interview with Prime and Shedeur and Prime is wearing sunglasses. Now I get Prime has been a father figure for Travis but it was a weird look that his mother wasn't on camera and his HC is there with his son and wearing sunglasses on stage like an a-hole. That interview was not an ego image situation that was a genuine character situation but Prime cant help but pimp his own ego and image
a lot of people, myself imcluded are just tired of Prime's self promotion BS

It didn’t need to be pointed out. The idiot who posted the embedded tweet said it, which makes the whole thing even more ridiculous.

You really gotta twist yourself into a pretzel to get racism out of a black guy winning the Heisman over another black guy.

The Deon hate is slightly racist for sure.
Except it's not. People hate the cockiness, the media dick riding, and the casuals jumping on the Colorado bandwagon. Those things aren't inherently due to anyone's race.

Jeanty is the exact definition of hardworking and humble.
To be fair, Hunter doesn't exactly seem to be an attention whore either.

The irony is black people have only been life long Colorado fans for the past two years because of Deion and black culture.
Very good point
Someone on this board the other day (I think his name was samson or saunson or something like that) was calling people racist for not wanting hunter to win the heisman. After I called him out and pointed to the fact that the people that didn’t want Hunter to win the heisman, thought another black person should have won it, they never came back. Surprise surprise

Well if you think the only people that think Jeanty should’ve won over Hunter are white, then maybe YOU’RE the racist.

I was more confused how he won the Biletnikoff award when clearly there was another receiver that had better numbers. And before anyone says it was conference comparison. One of the schools strength of schedule was rated 71 and the other was 79. I get his big thing for Heisman was he played both sides of the ball. I have a feeling that won’t be the case as much in the NFL.
