Nolan Ryan's 7th (and last) no-hitter when he was 44 years old.

Jack Nicklaus willing his 6th Masters title at age 46.

The Ken Norton and Larry Holmes title fight to replace Muhammad Ali as champion. That 15th round was the greatest 15th round of boxing in heavyweight history. Toe to toe slugging it out, each man giving it everything he had to win that fight. It was amazing to see live on TV. I can only imagine from boxing events I've been to how that would have been to be there and see that live.

I would pick Secretariat in 1973 at the Belmont Stakes winning by 31 lengths and bowing out the record lap time, which still stands today at 2:24.
Me too because Secretariat was that rare horse. They will never be another Secretariat! But I'd like to see the Hearns-Hagler bombfest! or even Sugar Ray making Duran's arse say "No Mas". I was a big Sugar Ray fan in those days!

Also, the US soccer women winning the world cup for the first time was nice!

Just happened to watch the movie Secretariat last night. He was still moving like a machine around Belmont. "Ronnie, just don't fall off."

I believe Big Red still holds the record for all of the triple crown races after 50 years.

USA - USSR, 1980 Lake Placid

Honorable mention: the first “game of the century,” UT - Arkansas 1969.

That Belmont changed the English language lol…

Idk if people used the word “Sham” for a hilarious fake ripoff before that race but I bet they did after

Not sure what you mean by this but if Sham runs any other year he would win or come close to winning the Triple Crown.

He has the 2nd fastest Kentucky Derby run in history.

Sucked for him to be running against the fastest.

I'd like to go back to sometime in the 50s, preferably in August, and attend a baseball game someplace where the temperature was about 90 degrees and the humidity was high.

Every old video I've ever seen of baseball shows all of the people in the stands dressed like they were going to church in Atlanta. I just want to see how that played out on a ridiculous hot day.

I’d go back in time to the 2005 Masters so I could be at the 16th hole to see Tiger’s chip in.

Funny thing is I was there that day and we followed him for 15 holes. Then we decided to get a spot on the 18th tee box and missed the shot of his career.
