Lulz, serious question - did you watch the SEC title game? What did you think of Jones in run support? He got absolutely owned.

So, no, Jones is not better in the run game and from what I saw, is not nearly as willing to stick his nose in there against a physical run game.

Jones is like a stand up DE, every big play he made was him speed rushing and getting a sack

His hype has to do with NDs resurgence, definitely.

But he's had a great season.

Couple that with the fact there are not a lot of superstars in CFB this year. Very few.

It's a perfect storm.

And Bama made many big running plays by running at (or over) Jones.

Minter is damn good. But he's not on the #1 team and he's not on the #1 defense. He also didn't have 7 INTs. That matters.

7 picks this season.

That's the only number that stands out.

His other numbers are pretty average.

Also, this is one of his worst years, statistically, outside of the INT's.

I don't understand this line of thinking. Yes, that number stands out, and for good reason. It's uncommon for a LB to have that many INTs.

If you took out 20 TDs by a QB, I guess the QB's stats would look pretty average as well.

The picks can be a game changing play. Much more impact than just a tackle.

There are many players with more impressive stats. Choosing one because it is peculiar, and giving a guy the highest individual honor in CFB because of that one stat. . .

That's my line of thinking.

T'eo shouldnt win, but why cant you fricking retards seem to grasp the fact that he is competing for this award with only other players from 2012. Thats it. What any other player did in any other year is not relevant. Only the dudes who played in 2012.

Read the OP. The question was of all time relevance. I don't think he is even close for that matter. Have a feeling it will end up like 1997 anyway.

He'll be the greatest human being to ever live. Tebow never had a gf die during a championship run.

Movie is already in the works.
