Would they have given LSU a tougher match up?

They couldn't beat the team LSU beat, so doesn't matter and no

They didn’t.

Who cares.

Move on.

LSU won.

Probably not. Lets not forget LSU basically beat Clemson by 24, they just mercy kneeled it to keep it at 17.

I was definitely bummed when OSU lost. Lsu/osu would've been a far better game than what we got.

OSU in a blowout. The most complete team in history.

Being completely objective, they definitely would have.

OSU had elite defensive talent that could’ve given LSU problems. Similar to the Auburn game. We put up yards but struggled a bit with Auburn and their ability to rush 3 and still get pressure. OSU could have done the same but with even better DB’s

Not saying OSU wins, but to act like it wouldn’t be close and OSU doesn’t have a chance is disingenuous

No but I wish they had beaten Clemson so we could recreate the previous beatdown in the Dome.

I think OSUs defense would be tougher to go against, but I think J Fields would look terrible under LSU's pressure and our DBs. JK Dobbins would be tough to stop for LSU.
But in the end, Burrow would throw at least 5 TDs on his old team.

It might have been a better game but nobody was stopping that LSU team

LOL....close, like 2 tds close cause they weren’t going to keep it very close with a qb on a bum knee and a rb with a twisted ankle.

More complete than the team that just went 15-0, had a glutton of award winners, then proceeded to have 14 players drafted? I take you for a troll, but can't just let you throw that nonsense out in the world without a rebuttal.

Also, that "most complete team in history" couldn't even win against the team that LSU curb stomped.

He hurt his ankle twice in the Clemson game.

He’s being sarcastic because the entire season the polls were saying they were better than LSU and OSU fans were saying shite like that

The options in this thread seem to be troll or circle jerk.

I'll go with option A. OSU wins due to being a more complete team with a better QB that faced better conference competition.

I don’t agree with this. Young was shutdown against a team that knew what was coming in Michigan. He would have been gasping for air by the 2nd quarter. And Ettiene IMO was a harder matchup for LSU than Dobbins would have been. And then you factor the Burrow came from OSU and it would end up looking very much like the Oklahoma game.

Yeah, it may have even been worse than 17 with Fields and Dobbins severly limited.
