If Mahomes gets it done this year, he’s the best of all time

The Chiefs are running Worthy, whos a decent gadget play receiver, the corpses of Travis Kelce and Juju Smith Schuster, and arse Hollywood Brown out there as his weapons. Just a pathetic group of skill players. If gets this team all the way to the finish line, he’s GOATed

The NFL will make sure the Chiefs win it. Not fir Mahomes though.

Rashee Rice is a top 10 WR

I don't disagree that he's done well with an ok supporting cast, but Brady didn't exactly have a constellation of offensive superstars around him.

Tom Brady did it with Deion Branch, David Givens, and a literal linebacker Mike Vrabel as his tight end.

Mahomes hasn’t elevated his play as his weapons have gotten worse and the OL has underperformed. Perhaps this is the year it changes but until it does any GOAT talk can cease

All probably better than him. And with most of those guys, you don’t have to hope they aren’t going to wind up in prison. Rice is a nice above replacement level player

He was in the Super Bowl last year

He also had Randy Moss, Edelman, and Gronk to be fair. I’m, of course, being a little hyperbolic, but this chiefs teams weapons are absolute doo doo and Mahomes is going to have to hard carry

quote:Correct. And he’s as mediocre as he’s ever been
He was in the Super Bowl last year
Sources:
His 2024 regular season
His 2024 playoffs before the SB
SB 59 (6 points in 57 minutes)
On the overall GOAT notion, a reminder of how it’s possible for such a mediocre offense to make the Super Bowl:
- Rings with Spags 3
- Rings without Spags 0

I miss the perspective of sports fans not being a slave to the present moment.
Montana held the the unanimous title of "best ever" for about 30 years...
...then Manning for a cup of Coffee, then Rodgers for a tea and then Brady when he finally retired... Now, Mahomes is crowned by a generation with ADHD...and who will be replaced by the "next GOAT up" in this era, where everything new/ last is by default better.
So in short, the next generation will laugh at you and proclaim the guy they're watching in the future as easily the best ever.

Would you even need to get on your knees to suck Mahomes off?

Keep an eye on the name Jason Brownlee, he’s a guy who could have an impact for the chiefs IMO. He’s one of the few receivers they have with some size

Mahomes has won the division every year of his career, been to 7 straight AFC Championships, and has 3 rings. And he’s 29 years old. I don’t think it has anything to do with ADHD man

Tom Brady was one Reche Caldwell drop from going to the SB with this WR group:
Old arse Troy Brown
Reche Caldwell
Chad Jackson
Jabar Gaffney
Doug Gabriel
Ect.

I don't even like Brady really but he would have killed for that receiving corps on some of his super bowl teams
