And without Scottie Pitten, Jordan wins none.

0.0 the game is different and can’t be compared. Had he not left Cleveland to leave for a super team to get a ring I would consider it more. Jordan made his team better, stayed there and kept winning. Didn’t go running in free agency and calling his friends to make one dominant team.

Without Ray Allen, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosch, Kyrie Irvin, and Kevin Love, LeBron has none!

I’ve always been a huge LeBron fan, but...

He’s not winning the finals. And that’s not a knock on him.

Sure. But that means if he loses then people that think Lebron is not the GOAT get to use this as further proof and you have to acknowledge it. Can’t have it both ways.

No, but LeBron is a loveable loser.

what about 11-0? since all you are going by is Finals record, and all...

Don't you mean 11-1? The Celtics/Bill Russell lost the 1958 Finals to the St. Louis Hawks.

BTW, LeBron with a win will be just .500 against the Warriors in the Finals. What an amazing GOAT performance.

With his teammates against these Warriors teams? Yes that would absolutely be an accomplishment.

And I say that as some who has MJ as GOAT.

The Warriors are a tremendous team. Why hold something like that against him?

Because some MJ fans are completely insecure and irrationally look for ways to bash LeBron for no reason.

Loses 4-1. Maybe 4-0.

His team is really mediocre.

This is actually illogical

I know why you and others say it, but it doesn’t make sense

Logic actually says beating a far better team because of a single player stepping up should elevate their status

Losing to a far better team should not lower an individual though. That makes zero sense

2011 can and should be held against him though. Losing this series, only an irrational, likely fat person, would say it’s a negative

He will always be under Jordan to me but if he beat this Warriors team I’d probably reconsider that

I have a similar opinion regarding the reconsideration of their rank, but I think they’re both pretty equal in greatness already.

There is just zero logical reason though to think they even have a chance

If Lebron can pull this Herculean effort off, then he is absolutely the GOAT!! Beating what many consider to be one of the greatest teams ever assembled...twice...in the NBA finals would just cement his status. I honestly believe he already is the GOAT, but winning this series would elevate him firmly above MJ. Jordan never beat a team as remotely close to as good as Golden State once...let alone twice!! This very reason is why I think Lebron goes crazy!!

It’s not likely that GS loses the series because of the efforts of one single player; they’re too deep for that. The one single player can be the most dominant and consistent but if the role players are taking turns contributing like they did in games six and seven of the conference finals, the Cavs championship is far from the efforts of a single player. Because GS is going to plan to throw a lot of players at Lebron, I’d say the role players hitting shots is the key to the series.

If KD holds the ball hostage, the Cavs have a chance. Either way, it seems more likely that Lebron steps up and his team still loses much like the way Bron scored 42 in a losing effort last series.

Probably because Jordan didn’t have friends
