Yeah but like if you’re a fan…. You know it’s all out of your control. Rally drivers might kill themselves, might kill their navigator, or might kill multiple spectators and still be expected to push it to the limit

Yes, they have to be great mechanics. Also they get paid like nothing.

I had a good friend who was a rally car driver. Was even on a VW commercial- the “nice car” one from back in the day. He was a baddass. Complete competition junkie. Ran and sold multiple successful businesses as well.
