So a team traveling in the future doesn’t have a week to watch film on the dreaded inverted cover 2 or rotating safeties?
It’s taken multiple years for the offenses to adapt to the defensive changes we have seen the last few years

Those aren’t facts and it’s totally irrelevant. You don’t know what you’re talking about, what you’re doing is speaking in slogans you saw on TikTok or some idiot ok YouTube. You don’t know anything about football

Saying man is played 100% more back then than it is now is saying it’s never played now which is false. If you can’t even do simple math you should stay away from stats.

What do you think happened to Stafford in 2022, 2023, and 2024?
Father Time caught him and then let him go in 2025?
No, like every other QB, their stats hit a fricking wall with the new schemes. It’s slowly , like always, being figured out. It’s exactly what the nfl and football does, it’s an evolving game where one side moves forward and wins for years and then the other side evolves and the other side of the circle is met

You were great at math weren’t you?

He literally has no clue what he’s saying. He’s repeating things he has no clue about.

You’re a retard
Something used to be done 60% of the time that is now down 30% of the time means “it used to be done 100% more”
Check a math textbook brother

If you actually knew basic math you’d know schematics in football are finite but you’re so stupid you think shell 2 is some breakthrough evolution when it’s actually been around forever.

No you wanted to deflect and focus on something I said was irrelevant because your argument can’t go any further than “muh modern equals more advanced”
Posted on 10/31/26 at 4:53 pm to Madking
I love how over time to some people sports transcends everything else and somehow doesn’t advance and somehow stays the same or even gets worse
Posted on 10/31/26 at 4:57 pm to lsupride87
It’s cyclical you retard. The fact that the NFL is moving back under center at an extremely high rate over the past 3-4 seasons and Fullbacks rates are more than doubling during that span would suggest that modernity is moving backwards towards archaic and simplistic football in your framing of reality. To say your logic is flawed would be too generous because you aren’t even using logic. Sloganeering isn’t an argument.

Please tell me you are comparing today’s offense under center to back in the day
Bills run a shite ton of under center 12 and 13 personnel , which was common according to you and “cyclical”
The routes and plays they run out of that would blow the fricking minds of coordinators in the 80s and 90s….

Again, no argument, deflecting and zero knowledge of football.

What routes and plays are those? You don’t know what you’re talking about.

I am quite literally the only one who has brought statistical facts on the changing nature of defenses, and you just use platitudes and butcher basic math
