That's an insane difference. Amazes me seeing guys like Danny Green stroke it from 3 in the pros when he wasn't even known as a shooter in college. That's some serious work.

Meh not really. Shooting is the easy part in basketball for a lot of people. We are talking about an uncontested shot. I am a rythem shooter. I think out of 100 tries I'd be able to hit 25 of them and I don't think it's as extreme as you are making it out to be. People saying that they'd shoot an unquestioned 40% or whatever, yeah I get that.

Considering I've had three back surgeries, I doubt I could even TAKE 100 shots from three. My arms would be noodles by attempt 50, and I'd short everything.
I was a decent shooter in high school, but those steps back to the NBA line are pretty huge. I doubt many people on the MSB could hit over 20.

I've never been on an NBA court, so I have no reference to tell if these guys are full of it or not.

I once did this with 50 threes and made somewhere between 16-19, but I do not remember exactly.

I feel pretty confident about 40-45, but they do call me "Steve Novak", "Larry Bird" and "J.J. Reddick" on the court. Rather be called "Kyle Korver" though, but I'm not complaining.

we're not talking about trying to hit a 90mph fastball or running a sub 4.5 40
seriously, yall are acting like it's so incredibly tough to hit a decent amount of shots.
you could take 20 shots, rest for 5 minutes, then take 20 more and so on and so forth

Yeah that's the one I'm thinking about. Don't remember what kinda store it was at the time. Switched to a golf store at one point and then maybe furniture/carpeting.

Easily 60+ I regulary shoot 100 a day from 24ft (top of key or wing rebounding my own ball) and always go north of 60% and my best to date is 89/100. Flame on.
