Doesn't matter who is taking the snaps. They suck.
They will start 1-7/0-8 and Pete will be fired.

they should have a good defense and a decent running game. Highly doubt they start 0-8

Pete wants to go 1-15 so he can draft Barkley.

They'll go 8-8 this year and be primed for a playoff run in 2013

If you think flynn should start you are a ranter. If you think russel should start you are an omniscient sports fan. Got it.
Apparently LSU fans can't have a valid opinion on an ex-LSU quarterback but LSU-haters' opinions on an ex-LSU QB are completely bias free and indisputable.

Wilson made some rookie mistakes. The biggest one was hitting Braylon Edwards in the hands for the game winner. A receipe for disaster.

The fact that you think only "LSU-haters'" aren't upset with the decision to start Wilson over Flynn just shows how biased you are.

Remind me again how many yards Flynn had in his last start in Green Bay?
This is irrelevant. I think if he starts Flynn THIS week they may lose the next two.

Please tell me where I said it was only the haters. That's why it's impossible to have a conversation with you people. You read one thing, and it interpret as something completely different. I have yet to hear a reason Wilson should be starting other than "he flat beat him out", which is a preposterous statement.

I can't believe people keep continuing to argue so adamantly about which mediocre QB gets to start for an irrelevant team.

Starting a rookie third round pick when you've just shelled out $50 million for a veteran starter in the same offseason is professional malpractice. This isn't a Russell Wilson opinion, this is a general NFL opinion. That shows a front office and a coaching staff on two different pages, which means this organization has some deep seated issues which go far beyond QB. Do the GM and coach even talk? How do you make a decision this terrible?
Hey, you think Wilson is the future. I get that. Put him on the bench for a year or two and let him learn the offense. It's not like you have much money invested in him. But the track of success for 3rd round picks as quarterbacks is not just low, it's practically non-existent. It drops to literally non-existent when you look at 3rd round picks who started as a rookie.
This is a horrible, short-sighted decision made by a coach trying to prove he's smarter than everyone. It smacks of hubris and it has almost no chance of working. It shows that this a front office that has no idea how to manage assets and would rather set $50 million on fire than build a winner.
Hell, and I don't even think Matt Flynn is the answer. He's Kevin Kolb, part 2 most likely. But starting a 3rd rounder as a rookie right when you've signed a veteran is precisely how bad organizations behave. Taking longshot risks that have little chance of working and calling it a plan. Know what that $50 million could have bought? Someone who could catch.

Yeah, let's ignore all the really good catches Edwards made.
Wilson had a terrible opening game. No need to sugar coat it.
Even a lot of his completions were poor throws that the receivers made really good catches on.

Why because Flynn is better than Russell?
That's a fact. Seattle is Stupid that's a fact.
Oh and Vanderbilt?
