Brees never had more than 5. He had 5 in 2012 against the Falcons and that was the only time

Just looking at that list, blanda should've gone to bama. We'd be dominating repeat offenders with him

I remember when Payton threw 5 against the chargers. It was all the talk because it was so surprising

So basically...If you're good enough to be asked to throw the ball a lot and good enough to play for long enough, you will almost undoubtedly throw 5 picks in a game eventually.

I was at that game. Thursday night football in Atlanta 2012.
Brees actually threw 6 ints, one was called back because of a defensive penatly.

I immediately thought about Farve when I clicked on this thread. Especially at the tail end of his time in Minnesota.

Joe Namath's was a turnover machine. I had to do a massive double take when I looked at his stats for the first time, I am 26 so I never watched him.

I am not going to call him overrated but I get the feeling that if he hadn't playing in New York he wouldn't be a household name.

Namath gets cred for playing in NY, being the first QB to throw for 4,000 yards, having a strong arse arm, and calling what was the biggest upset in SB history until NE beat the Greatest Show on Turf.

If you look at the era in which he played, though, you'd have to put at least Starr, Unitas and Dawson ahead of him as far as best QBs.

Was in the stadium for that one. That snapped his consecutive TD streak too.

And John Abraham knocked the shite out of him near the end of the game.
