Like I said I agree with everything you said in that post but Mariotta wasnt some tard that came in and they made awesome. He came in when some good tools.

Johnny Football was coming to Oregon too.

Black Mamba was going to USC - stolen at the last minute because Oregon said, you don't have to play DB like USC wants you to.

what does that have to do with what I said?

Oregon built a system that disguised their weaknesses ie size etc. and now they are good and have those things with good playmakers

And most of our pros that actually contribute are defensive players.

And who would that be? Can't think of a single Oregon alum who is making any significant defensive contributions in the NFL right now.

Or they already have 4* rated corners who have played that position since kids.

The position Oregon has put in the NFL more lately, are db's.

Ifo will be the first CB taken in the next draft.

Thanks for the link.
Their facilities are beautiful.
I found it interesting that they have two side by side, full length practice fields. How many teams can match that?

they've been good since the 70s, and were one of the golden programs back when only 1-2 games came on tv (that means they were a national brand and had huge advantages over all but a very small number of teams)

Nebraska has been great since the 30s

Forgot about Ngata. The rest either are insignificant or haven't played enough to be significant.

Southern Cal's struggles didn't start until Carroll bailed.

Jarius Byrd was runner up as defensive rookie of the year a few years ago.

Haloti Ngata

His teammate Ed Dickson as well.
Ed has a ring, Ngata has 2.
