JB graduated in 3 yrs at Ohio State & finished his Masters Degree at LSU in a year & a half i.e. he was of above average in IQ and, as well

Let’s calm down. We know Burrow is a smart football player and probably relatively intelligent, but let’s not use him completing a liberal arts masters degree as an end all be all IQ test

Ask Nebraska first. They flat out turned down Joe. He could have single handedly turned that program around. So they are now still stuck in neutral

So did Florida.

I just thought that since a Heisman winner and National Champion was mentioned in the thread title then yall might not have much to contribute here

How much did you contribute to aid in Burrow’s success and LSU’s NC? About as much as you claim South Carolina fans should know about Heismans and National Championships?

20-2 as OSU starter. Threw for 67/9 in two seasons as starter at OSU. Two time offensive player of year in Big Ten. Not sure what your standards are, but Fields did not suck in college.

Dwayne Haskins was pretty damn good at Ohio St.

It's an irrelevant question in this case. Joe Burrow turned out to be a generational QB in college, but if you told me my college quarterback would have to settle for 4800 yards, 50 TDs, 8 INTs on 70% completion percentage, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

There's been plenty of great college QBs that just didn't translate to the pros. It doesn't somehow invalidate what they did in college, some just don't have what it takes to succeed at the pro level, simple as that.

Did not read five pages but my opinion is that Haskins was a better athlete surrounded by great players. Joe has the ability to make something happen. Haskins could execute in a dominant offense where receivers are routinely getting separation but he can’t deliver as the competition equalizes. Joe is a gamer with an incredible desire to win and unfailing work ethic. It didn’t show up until he found his opportunity at LSU

So by that standard only one QB per year doesn’t suck. Got it.

Urban Meyer routinely said it was a very close race. The fan base didn't believe him.

Burrow broke his thumb in fall camp and Haskins excelled. At that point, there was no rational way to make a switch.

What did Fields bring them other than more playoff loses?

He had an all time great playoff game in a blowout win over Clemson. Not to mention a season with 51 total touchdowns and only 3 ints

Holy frick anything short of licking Burrow’s balloon knot sends LSU fans on here into a fricking tizzy

Enough said.

Joe would have thrown for 85 tds/0 ints as Ohio State’s quarterback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haskins coming in for an injured JT in the 2017 Michigan game and leading a come from behind victory basically sealed it too.

All time great playoff game...

As good as Burrow’s semifinal game vs Oklahoma?
