I mean…does he really? There’s a reason he’s focused on cherry picking these over 40 retired MMA guys: they draw an audience and he can beat them at his age and talent level

And it triggers the frick out of people like OP who ensure his heel status will continue to print money

Congrats, Jake—you beat a 58 year old man who looked terrible. Who’s going to watch Jake Paul’s matches now? What a joke.

can’t believe I stayed up for this. I might’ve even paid for it if it weren’t on Netflix.

Tyson barely threw punches. He would have hurt JP.

No. I’m 62 and I can assure you that at 58 Tyson is less than a quarter what he used to be.

Dumbasses like the OP not understanding this and acting like Paul ever cared about the quality of fights and the sport is the reason why he’s gotten this popular

He’s made himself a villain/troll and it has literally paid off big time

Paul is a pretty pedestrian boxer, but he has figured out how to get a lot of people to watch his fights. I’ll never watch another one of his fights or any other content be ever puts out.

Dude has professionally trained to be a boxer but in the end, he’s a money merchant. He has no real interest in any “true fighter” title

I guess that’s the only logical answer

He probably knows he has no shot and will never have any shot against a legit boxer in a real fight, so he’s kind of made this “genre” of boxing… kind of a “celebrity boxing” makeover

In that case he’s really smart. But I still think he was trying to make a name for himself and would rather be a legit boxer. Or at least fool people into thinking he was a legit boxer.

He’s the Weird Al Yankovic of boxing.

I don't think Jake Paul is proud of "beating" Mike Tyson. I think he is proud of what he has accomplished in terms of putting eyes back on boxing and putting together a fight card that can fill up Jerry World and draw millions of viewers on Netflix.

As much as I hate influencing culture and social media stars, I respect that Jake has obviously taken boxing seriously enough to not look like a Barstool Rough & Rowdy fighter in the ring and pursue something like this. I also respect him for not teeing off on Tyson after realizing the dude had no legs under him and letting him save face a little bit. My theory is that Tyson had some kind of knee issues that caused the first fight to be postponed, and it was a now or never type deal for last night's fight.

I think the Tyson four years ago would have been an entertaining fight.

Boxing got no new fans last night.

That debacle hurt the sport.

Influencers are not professional boxers. Clearly. That Influencer from Brazil got humiliated.

Anybody checked on CP3LSU25?

He’s been hardcore melting for the last 12hrs or so and his thread got whacked. Dude may be close to offing himself.

And yet many posters here said it was rigged if Tyson didn't knock him out within two rounds. Talk about living in the past. Hello Father Time

Barrios vs. Ramos and Taylor vs. Serrano bouts hurt the sport? 120 million+ people watched those great fights. Y'all are ridiculous.

Nope, but I’m probably in much better condition than him, plus I haven’t taken the abuse from fighting or chemicals. We are both human, and father time will have his way, as we saw - or rather, as you saw.
