That's ok. Who won that series?

With that said, there's not many players that you ever consider one of the best of ALL TIME.

Pujols happens to be one of them.

Always looked to me as if that was not an issue.

I still don't belive he's only 37. ..I think we he signed that huge huge deal he was much closer to 35 than 30.

Dude has been very serviceable as he has aged. He is not at his peak but he has still been very productive

not $25M a year productive

Cards got his $25M a year years for a lot less

works that way a lot in baseball, guys get paid and get All Star nods on the downslope

His decline has been pretty significant since 30

1. He's probably 5 years older than he says
2. Improved drug testing

At least five years older than what he says.

There is a local media guy who swears he's at least 4 years older.

His decline has been pretty significant since 30, not hitting above 300 since 2010. Will probably end up with 700 career homeruns and 2000 RBIs.

I always wondered if he really is the age he says he is or if he was able to use one of those Dominican birth certificates. He fell off so hard, so fast that I've thought he is about 3 years older than he says he is.

His 2001-2002 numbers were almost as good. He should have won MVP in 2006. 2nd best player of my generation behind Griffey. Hate seeing him play for Angels.

Is that because Bonds likely used PEDs? Because he was clearly better than both, even before the PED usage.

Pujols' 2001-2002 years were almost as good as his 2003-2010 years. Bonds was great too. I just think Pujols was better.

Fair enough, but if you aren't penalizing Bonds for PEDs, I just struggle to see how Pujols could be better. Bonds' 2000-2004 stats are just so cartoonish. From 2000-2004 Pujols went .333/.413/.624, which is phenomenal. And Barry Bonds still made him look pedestrian by running a .339/.535/.781 line.
