You're an idiot, Louis T. Just because im a realist and call it the way I see it doesnt mean I hate JR or dont want him to succeed. I love what he did for LSU, but lets be honest... facts or facts. When he was a Freshman and I watched him warming up on the sideline before games, I thought he was goin to be a stud. I like everybody fell in love with the eyeball test. But, I know (unlike you Louis) u need more than that. In college you can get away with just being physically better than everybody. IN the NFL their are just to many great players on the defensive side of the ball to do that.

He needs to rework mechanics, improve drastically with accuracy, and improve on his progression. Unless he makes drastic improvements and dedicates himself to the game and works on gettin better then he will never tap into his physical gifts.

And dont be a bitch because you were wrong about JR.

Many guys could have done what Brady has done. With these Raiders, Brady would be worse than Russell. Brady has weak athleticism and a weak arm. He has benefited from a GREAT LINE, great receivers, consistent running game with very good third down backs, a strong defense, a good scheme that capitalizes on his brains (which he has along with good mechanics) and smokin female companionship. He has also benefited from spy gate....trust me! We'll see how this year goes, but he still has good components around him and a great coach. MAnning could have 5 mvp's and 5 super bowls with the Pats of the last 8 years.

QBs developed by the Raiders over the last 20 years anyone? I am still waiting for someone to lay it all out for me.

Todd Marinovich was mentioned, most noted for his drug use than his playing days.

The silence is exactly what I was getting at.

But, in those 20yrs they have only picked 2 QBs in the first round...JR and Marinovich

They may have great running backs, but they haven't done shite this year. Didn't McFadden have negative rushing yards in the game?

That whole team is imploding and has so many holes its unbelievable. I think JR needs to be cut only so he can go to a real team and get some type of coaching.

Rich Gannon was an all pro for this same shitty organization. Hell they made the super bowl several years back. JR is flat out horrible and would be horrible even if he were at New England.

But there's a reason teams like Pittsburgh (and the Pats, Giants, etc.) are successful over time. They make good decisions on personnel. I don't believe any of those teams would have drafted JR (or at least not drafted him in the first round

You are full of shite. I think every team would have picked if they had the need for a QB.

uscpuke, you are a freaking retard. Have you seen what has happened to that team since the superbowl? Before JR even got drafted? They basically used a team built by Gruden to get to the Super Bowl, and then once they lost it, have hired retard coach after retard coach after retard coach. Kiffin was an utter embarrassment, and likely did more damage to JR than anything.

Then instead of hiring a competent coach to replace Kiffin, the promote Cable who punches his own assistant coach? Nice! A great recipe for success.

sure thing Bob. All I ever hear is how terrible the Raiders are, but to think JR would do any better anywhere else makes me

Again, if he got decent coaching and had reasonable wide receivers, and an OL then maybe. I am not saying it is guaranteed either, but McFadden has been a bust and JR, Gallery, etc. All their top pics are sucking arse except Nmadi.

When has JR had a great running game to support him? Ater he left LSU, Hester ran for over a thousand yards. The following year Scott ran for twelve hundred. He goes to the Raiders and has three above average running backs, McFadden, Bush, and Fargus. None have performed to their level of ability since Russell arrived.

The Raiders are 25-75 over the last 100 games. This did not happen by accident.

Is JR responsible for those losses? I don't even think the Saints have had a stretch that pathetic. People are expecting him to overcome a culture of losing by himself. They need to blow the whole thing up and start over.

How many guys on the offensive side of the ball would even sniff a pro bowl or an all pro status in the next two or three years?

How many of the coaches on the Raiders staff would you want to run your favorite team college or pro?

You mean the Fargas that ran for over 1,000 yards in 2007, and the 850 yards last year?

Jeremy Green on ESPN radio today, said, JR was on the sidelines looking like he needed a bucket of chicken.

He didnt mean anything racial by it but he realized it was a bad way to go and tried to correct himself
