They legitimately , 100 percent need to be relegated to a lower classification . They have no business “competing” in FBS.

I remember them winning Southland conference when I was there. They had several transfers from D-1 schools on their roster because they didn’t want to sit out a year. That’s not a thing anymore.

They almost folded the program a few years ago. They should just quit now.

Most consistent team in football perhaps?

Easiest money I’ve ever made when I saw Tech open w/ total points @ 49.5.

Yes other teams from fcs get walloped by bigger teams but the last 3 seasons, it’s been the most embarrassing thing I’ve seen when NSU plays an FBS team

its not often you’ll see a team in any sport score 80 unanswered points

Even Southland Conference teams beat them by 40 last season

They need a coach/cheerleader. I wish O would return to his alma mater and get the excitement back.

Umm…they don’t compete in FBS. They’re in FCS.

Now if you’re wanting to argue they should be DII, maybe, but then they’d have to drop to DII for their other sports.

They finished 6th in the SLC in baseball last season, 7th in men’s basketball, and finished 2nd in the SLC men’s outdoor T&F championships. So they are competitive within the Southland in other sports.
