After the Astros acquired Roberto Osuna from the Toronto Blue Jays, the City of Houston melted. Monday morning Seth Payne and Mike Meltser disagreed on an issue and Mike lost it. Mike left the studio, they went to commercial. After the commercial Seth was absent and remained absent for several segments likely the remainder of the show.

How is the local sports talk scene in America's 4th largest market such a fricking cesspool?

They had to have had some side bet about how many times he could say the word “unbearable” in under a minute.

That wasn't a meltdown. This is a meltdown.

Biggest meltdown of all time.

so they melt over that and not Carmelo Anthony preemptively wrecking a potential championship team?

I’m thinking it was real because as Mike is walking out, you can hear the microphone pick up him dropping the F-bomb.

If it wasn’t real, he wouldn’t have dropped the F.

Literally the only reason I give 790 a listen these days.

In other news they are fricking Jayson Braddock over HARD. It's really sad. It's almost NFL time and he can't work because iHeart is in bankruptcy and holding him to the non compete.

How can they enforce a non compete when they fired him? What if he just ignores it and forces them to sue him? Wouldn't they have to hire a lawyer to do that?
