Did you know the Texans had a white starting running back this season? ?

Also, remember this dude?

That dude is a light skinned brother.

1 RB.

Must mean NFL is racist against white RBs. Right?

Is Saban a part of the Belichick tree or are they contemporaries?

Belichick’s hired Saban as DC, assistants are considered part of the HCs tree, like Belichick is part of Parcell’s tree

He wasn't the problem, but he was terrible. Guy never deserved to be a head coach. He's getting his millions, so no one should feel bad for him.

Anti-white racism is the only answer.

Name the white RBs and CBs that are not getting a shot?

There are hardly any at big colleges either but there are literally thousands at HS across the US. So either the mostly white college coaches are actively discriminating or there aren’t many white RBs CBs etc that are good enough.

The problem with this stupid comparison of yours is with players we can see the talent. It’s 100% objective. What incentive would a white coach have for not recruiting a talented player, when he will get fired if he doesn’t win? With coaching you can’t see it or measure it the same way, there’s no 40 or drills that you can do. unless someone gets a chance to actually coach.

It’s crazy you would hire a coach with the expectation he will only be there for a year

If he had done a better job then they would have kept him.

No decent head coach was going to take that job last year, so they hired a nice guy that would jump at the opportunity because he would never get a second look from any other team. And he won't get any looks now.

Sounds like they’ve got it all figured out

He’s getting a 22 million dollar payout for one year of work. Yet all the folks who hired him get a pass and will get to hire the next coach. Laughable

And knowing they were firing him shortly after hiring it's asinine they gave him a deal worth $4 mil a year.

Culley is 66 years old and will be paid millions of dollars the next three years to do nothing, and never has to work another day in his life. I envy him.

The weirdest is when the teams that were tanking fire the HC. Like what did he do wrong with that crap roster, win too many?

Wait, is that racist?

If not, that's my answer for why there aren't more black head coaches.

What incentive does an NFL owner have to not hire a talented black coach?

shite, they'd get praised for doing it.

Im assuming the owner and GM want to win and don't care what color the coach is.

Can't measure it? Lots of ways to measure a coach. Too many to even list.

There shouldnt be a certain number of black coaches. Thats ridiculous. Just like the number of white DBs. There shouldn't be a certain number. At this level, people want to win and make money.

Dude should have never been an NFL HC to begin with

Now we get to hear all the outrage because how dare a severely under qualified HC be let go if his ethnicity is African American

Why are people in this thread pretending like this is crazy or something? He had no real qualifications for the position in the first place, keeping a guy because he didn’t fail as hard as you expected is a how you make bad decisions worse

Yeah living in Houston it was known all along that he is just a placeholder until Nick had the coach he wants. I thought it would be at least 2 years but they obviously think their guy is available now so they are going to get him.

Considering how his Broncos tenure went and what he did to the Colts a few years ago, he should be fortunate to even have any consideration

He only had 2 years of his contract guaranteed, so no, he's not getting $22 million.
