Both of those players had been in the league for years so their value was known. Wade and Darko weren't there was no data showing what kind of NBA players the rookies would be.
Good point. JJ Hickson >>>>>>> Amare; Kwame Brown = Pau Gasol.

Smith was a solid pickup HOU would've no way been out of rd 1 without him. He hasn't been good this series.

As a Hawks fan, Josh Smith is the most infuriating thing ever. He does seem to be doing better in Houston though.

His entire career has been letdown to me. So much potential, so little of it realized.

I actually think Dwight is better than Randolph. It's just funny that you had to make up these absurd arguments (poor front office decisions; making up reasons why Lebron left) to support your argument. All you had to do was list their resumes (leaving out some worthless accolades though), but instead, for some odd reason, you presented some irrelevant information. You would make a poor lawyer, that is for sure.

Do you notice alot of those accomplishments are from years ago? 2009...2010...2011..2012. Not really relevant to now.

I'm not saying Howard isn't talented, I'm saying he could've been SO MUCH MORE. Sadly, it won't happen.

It wasn't me making an argument it was to point and laugh at Randolph. Everyone knows there is no comparison.

Well he hurt his back if you look at his numbers from this years playoffs and last years his numbers are just as good as they ever were. If he had avoided injury there's little doubt he would've won those accolades those injured years.

Well maybe I'll rephrase that; you would make a poor lawyer if your client was apart of your fandom.

Orlando blew his prime years by signing Lewis to a max deal. I mean they got to the finals despite that. If they could have attracted another top ten player, they could have won a title. I still think Howards offensive game was too flawed to be considered an all time great at his peak.

Those Rockets teams from the mid-90's had warriors all over the court. Olajuwon was supremely skilled. Elie, Kenny Smith, Thorpe, Horry, and Cassell.

Those are foxhole guys. Those guys lived for the game. I don't see anybody like that on this Houston team.

Revisionist history. People thought Olajuwon was a selfish player who couldn't lead a team for years.
