Neville held mcD35 to 71 yards, had 5 sacks, only allowed 2 completions, had a punt return TD called back, missed a field goal, and let our 2's play the 4th qtr. Total domination.

I havent seen Neville and wanted them to play a team I was familiar with to get a good feel on them. Karr and Lutcher both dominated 35 so this is the game I can use to compare the teams.

7-2A represented well, Episcopal losing on the road in overtime, to a Winnfield team several on here said would destroy them, and U-High losing 23-20 to Calvary compliments of some serious home cooking and 4 second half turnovers. Got off our horse that we rode to a 12-0 record for some reason, as we were a lot deeper than they were and they seemed to be wearing down, but we decided to throw, and you know the old saying about passing having 3 possible outcomes and 2 of them being bad. Our only other game this close was against Episcopal and Brossette toting the rock 30 times wore them down, thinking it would have happened last night.

Calvary has a lot of team speed, but I don't see them matching up with the Curtis teams that have eliminated us the past two years. Curtis versus Evangel will be epic next week.

Proud of U-High for their season, wish it was continuing. Guess I'll be in Atlanta next week.

I knew the Roneagles would get slapped around... They were partying like friggin rock stars after beating a young/inconsistent Purple Knight squad twice, only to get blown out the next weeks by better/veteran coaching staffs... Proud of those Cougars though... Purple Knight Alum is doing big things at Edna Karr

Anyone that was watching that game knows that Winnnfield kid fumbled in over time. THAT WAS GAME OVER. EHS got hosed. Refs weren't going to give the Knights that game up in Winnfield like that. Total bullshite. Shitty calles and home cooking by refs is one reason I really dislike high school football.

Byrd's farthest road trip the entire year was 60 miles to Ruston. We'll see how they do traveling to Carencro.

Heard west monroe had a bunch of injuries on the line? Anyone know the deal? If their 2 deep all got hurt on the O-line, MHS might have a chance

Ouch. Kinda Busch league for a Coach to say about the team that just beat him. No matter how true it may be.

Just saw the WAFB Sportline highlights that I had DVR-ed while in Shreveport. Clearly a fumble, and they did get hosed. We had several, not the least of which was Calvary's final punt when they had 17 (yes as in 6 too many) players on the field, half of which were moving when the ball was snapped, NO FLAG. We play Calvary at our place, or even a neutral site, we beat them. LOL at the posters talking about how the BR teams were going to get slaughtered in North LA. They must have been referring to the officiating.

Calvary lost their starting QB the week prior to playing U-High right? Kind of a big difference when a backup QB is getting his first start in the quarterfinals.
