Calvary won I believe is what was reported here earlier. I was told that Calvary's QB was injured last week.

4A Neville
5A West Monroe

I like this except I will pick Mangham over OCS. I know homefield advantage isn't big in high school especially 1A but it has to mean a little something.

With Neville having to go to Breaux Bridge, I promise you it will be no walk in the park for the boys from Monroe.

I don't think anyone who has watched a football game this year believes it will be a walk in the park for either team. Nevermind, just got back from the rant, I can see where many probably believes it will be.

JJ27 is right, the winner should win state.

2A to hard to call, and look out for Byrd in 5A.

Didn't C.E. Byrd already beat West Monroe earlier this year?

ETA: Just looked it up and they did, 30-23.

First game of the year at Byrd 30-23. Safety and blocked punt for TD difference in game. Byrd just found a way to win in that one. Evangel is the only team in the Shows' era to beat WM twice in a season.

They say he is 5'10 205. I would say he is bigger though. Looks an inch or so taller and about 10 lbs bigger.
