He's not a pitcher.

He's the hardest person to strike out in professional baseball.

La tortuga is a boss. Came up as a catcher but plays all over the infield now.

Most peanut guys can break 46 mph.

That guy reminds me of myself in high school.
I was that guy in high school. Sacrificial lamb.

Nick Madrigal has taken that title over... but you have to be a fan of Astudillo.

Dude has a killer no look pickoff throw to 1st from behind the plate.

And he throws killer lollipops to retire a side on 7 pitches.

Mike Trout who?

That was entertaining baseball to me.

The dude is a real life Uribe from Brockmire. Wonder if he parties as hard as him?

He actually hit 72 mph

I would love to see what would happen if a guy pitched like this all game

He'd get blown up most likely... MLB hitters will adjust quickly and coming in those speeds they have time to react.

ETA: Two of his outs were line drives, just right at 3B. Those will find plenty of holes over the course of a game.

I would much rather face a 72 mph fastball than a 50 mph whatever that was.

I love that he looks completely disinterested the whole time.

This

The one he gave any mild effort on throwing hard easily hit 72 and had movement for a strike on the corner of the plate. I bet he could throw mid-80s if he wanted to, but his pitching method is more effective.

There is actually a rule on being allowed to have position players to pitch and required run differential? You can’t just put anyone out there? I guess so you don’t have actual pitchers on your roster as Utility players?
