Who knows. They destroyed Notre Dame during the Richt years and flamed out at the end of the season.

These things can often be questioned and have numerous right answers, but this isn't one. The U was in decline...but it was LSU that kicked the final pile of dirt on that grave that night.

Richt also had the U back until he didn’t. I also think Mario has too much in-game dysfunction to win a natty.

Who was the LB who wrecked shop in the fight in the tunnel? Highsmith?

Exactly.

While it ultaimately worked, Miami's last offensive possession was hilariously mismanaged.

You have talent all over the field and you have a kicker who is 5/12 for his career. With 1 minute left, at the 35 yard line, what do you do on 2nd and third down? You run zone runs directly up the middle for a total of 4 yards.

Luckily for Mario, his kicker kicked the absolute shite out of the ball, had no idea where it was going, and it ended up through the goalposts.

LSU wins the national championship if they don't have to play 11 straight weeks after Katrina. They were wore out by the time they got to the sec championship against Georgia.

Cristobal is a pretty terrible game day coach, so they’ll likely be dropping a game or two they shouldn’t

They have 3 challenges to get “back”

1- the opener vs a big time opponent. They’ve accomplished it

2- no trip ups to weak teams in conf which puts them into the playoff

3- win a playoff game

Beating ND is a huge win for Miami, their schedule is cupcake city

No way they were jumping Texas or USC.

Miami started out hot last year. I’d wait until mid October before declaring the U is back. They have Florida later on in the month, then FSU. We’ll see where they are after those games

Well the Tennessee loss was early in the season so y'all wouldn't have jumped USC and Texas anyhow.

It’s pretty awesome how LSU put them down for a whole generation.

And considering their history, they won’t be back until they can win a national championship.

They will never be like they were before that Peach bowl. From 1983 till 2003 they were dominant. That peach bowl just seems like that final nail…

He's a cuban orgeron. Absolute retard that recruits well but won't win a damn thing unless literally every star aligns.

This might be the year they are back because they don’t have Georgia Tech on their schedule ready to beat that arse again
