Still, I don't follow his logic, but granted I didn't see the show and the OP isn't that clear...

yeah, I'm confused as hell also....

Was he saying that Oregon will beat LSU to start the year, and then beat Alabama to end the year in tMNCG to be the first team outside tSEC to beat lsu/bama in the same season?

Louisiana Warhawks could have done it but LSU was too afraid to schedule the powerhouse from Funroe ...

If he was asking in an out of conference way thn its kinda dumb- i mean, how many teams not in the sec have ever played bama and lsu in the same year? Sounds like he realized hat was said was stupid and went to covering it up later.

this sounds good.

Yes that is what he hinted at. And I don't disagree it's a dumb statement because how many teams ooc have played both. But this thread started with saying "auburn did out just last year" and the absolute fact is he said what ooc has done it. Zeal needs to admit his mistake. We all make them.

Glad you cleared that up. How about in bowl games though? There have to be some teams OOC that have played both. I just don't feel like doing any research.

If Oregon were to run the table, and beat Bama in the BCSCG, it would be quite a feat.

That said, I think they're probably going to lose a game or two.

considering he explicitly said outside of the SEC has any team ever beaten both teams in the same year i think thats a pretty good guess that's what he meant.

yes and no. He was picking Oregon to run the table and beat Bama in the NC and made a remark about beating both LSU and Bama in the same year as a big accomplishment. The tards that like to jump on anything Herbstriet says are blowing it out of proportion. It was a compliment to how good LSU and Bama are, i doubt any teams outside the B1G have beaten Ohio State and Michigan the same year.

That reasoning doesn't make sense at all, either.

This makes sense.

I'm pretty sure USC has.

This is retarded on so many levels. How many teams OUTSIDE of the SEC schedule LSU and BAMA the same year for their OOC games in the first place

in the same season, possible, but in a season where both were in the top 5?

Yep. And the current bowl system hasn't been around that long so you don't have that many chances to beat one in the regular season and one in the bowl.
