Coach's violation
The coach wasn’t the one taking the snap from center. Under your line of thinking, literally nothing can be the fault of the athlete and he can never be held accountable.

After watching that HTV clip those parents were stupid and cost their kid his senior year. Tough sledding.
Carrying dual residences is as dumb as it gets.
Then the mother claims her husband is a coach at Hahnville, the AD signs off on the form, but orally says she never interviewed the father for the HC Basketball position as it wasnt vacant
..
I change my mind, kid needs to sit it out. fricking tards. LHSAA got it right after all.

plus there is some other "stuff" but it's really moot at this point.... moral of the story - before you even think about transferring your kid... know the rules....

I feel certain the parents knew the rules... it appears they think they are above the rules!
I believe the moral of the story is follow the rules! Teach your children what it is right to follow the rules, no one is entitled! Doesn't matter if you are a highly recruited athlete or just a member of the team!
If you don't like the rules, be a leader and work hard to change them.

and the VC principal even gave the HHS principal a heads up........ yeah VC was so vindictive....

Truth be told I really just feel like the whole ordeal is being blown out of proportion.
Couldn’t agree more with this statement. And the fault of that lies at Dad’s feet because he thought he was above the rules and when they were enforced, he went to the media and they have been pushing ever since.

Sad that Kristian Garic is still beating the Robison drum and doesn't understand the importance of the TPR document:
Garic Twitter
He wonders how LHSAA didn't find a document that was filed in late August? I mean, the Robison's didn't give this info up when they claimed Houma was toxic. It was only known once the younger brother started playing games the last 2 weeks and someone thought to look.
The parents claims residency on a signed/dated statement in St. Charles so one son can play football there. And they claim residency on a signed/dated statement in Terrebonne so another son can play football there. It seems pretty cut and dry where the blame lies...
And this is probably why Garik is a sports reporter and not working with Lee Zurik or David Hammer. He gave the dad 10 minutes of free video publicity Friday night and never once asked about the residency, the lie about basketball coaching at Hahnville on the statement, the reasons he was let go at Vandebilt even though his son was the starting QB, etc. Brilliant reporting...

Unethical!
Using his reporter platform for his school/community personal gain while dispariging others without proper evidence!

There's a reason Baton Rouge sports radio is better than New Orleans sports radio.
WWL 870 is a 50,000 watt blow-torch, the official station of an NFL franchise, and we get the likes of Garic, the departed Deke Belavia, and little else. Sad.

Just how good is this guy? I'm not exactly a recruiting guru but I've done a little searching and all of the sites I find don't even rank him that high with our state alone. What the hell am I missing?

This thread is still going??? It’s high school, baws. Seems fricked up, but it’s just like everything else in LA

Right now, the best sports radio in NOLA is ESPN 100.3 which technically isn't a NOLA station (it is more a South LA station), and has two ESPN BR shows simulcast on it. And that's even with the negative points it gets for Kattengelll.
WWL has become a shell of it's former self (and isn't really a sports station).
1280 AM, has the somewhat entertaining Innes in the morning. Gordy sucks, Asher sucks at sports (and his restaurant thing is weird), D-League sucks, and Kaare... well Kaare is ok when talking about sports but when he starts in on his far, far, far left liberal rants, which is about 90 percent of the time, he is unlistenable.

Going into his senior season, I think he had an offer from Nichols. That's it. If he would have played, maybe got a few more... ticketed though to be a FCS QB.
