believe Atwell told him he could transfer to any school except Terrebonne, because he knew they would be good. I believe he figured Andrew would end up at H.L. or South T. or some other program that was down, and thought the kid would come back.
Why would he care if he went to Terrebonne? Vandebilt is not even in that class. South Terrebonne is in Vandebilt’s district, so i could see not wanting him there.
Fact is, he wasn’t gonna transfer to Terrebonne because he wasn’t going to play ahead of the QB they already have there. Dad has always been about promoting Andrew. Even had a Facebook page to post his stats (only the good ones of course)
You see Atwell is not saying anything because he has a gag order from higher ups not to open his mouth. It’ll all come out eventually and then everyone forming opinions based on one sides Story will look like fools.
You ask what the kid did? He lied at the hearing when he said kids were wearing his missing gear...he GAVE away his stuff because he knew he wasn’t coming back

I admit I don't know much about Terrebonne this year except they are expected to be really good, but last year they play multiple athletes a qb (at least they did against HHS) I'm assuming he could have gotten a few snaps at QB so those same athletes could show case their skill set. Like I said before I believe Atwell wanted the kid back and figured if he transferred to a struggling program he would just stay where he was... that means NO Terrebonne, had nothing to do with district, and more to do with control. And If I'm Atwell if the higher ups said don't say anything, I would at least expect THEM to defend me. At the very least even if he doesn't tell "his" side, he could at least say what is being said isn't true... He hasn't said anything, just a smug smirk.
Andrew said his stuff was stolen, you say it was given away. Truth maybe somewhere in between, he gave away Vanderbilt stuff, and personal stuff was stolen... go figure.
Nothing else about this story is coming out we know what we know, EVERYONE has an agenda here, and the complete truth... well if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well, as full disclosure as I have said before, I am from the VCHS community. That community also feels it is horrible that this has happened to the kid. The Robison parents have not been honest, and the proof is all over the place. NO ONE WOULD WISH THIS ON THE KID!
However, you must realize this family and student have thrown our school, faculty, and community under a train. THAT is what we are pushing back about. Prior to that, there was FULL support from ALL (faculty, parents, students) to get Andrew back on the field. The minute the Robison family turned and attempted to disgrace our community…. You bet Momma & Papa Bears came out in full force.
Make no bones about this… VCHS has been through much worse and we will persevere and overcome. Eight years ago this week our community was COMPLETELY destroyed by the loss of 4 beautiful children in a tragic car accident. Less than a month ago, we lost a wonderful young boy to cancer. That stuff is real and cuts to the bone! You are right… this is high school football!
VCHS is strong and will stand as a community! We will accept our faults if and when the truth is revealed. However, at this point the Robison family has simply put word out on the street of “their accusations” of events. MANY of these just don’t add up and have already been proved wrong. The rest will be appropriately discovered as the law suit and investigation proceeds.

Yeah get where you're coming from, and if the roles were reversed I'm sure the HHS community would be out in full force. I don't really think the HHS community is really blaming VCHS as much as Coach Atwell personally, but I do understand why you guys would feel that way. Truth be told I really just feel like the whole ordeal is being blown out of proportion.
The actions of pissed off Dad, a vindictive coach, and a prideful LHSAA organization... and in the end the kid and communities (VCHS and HHS) suffer. Sad situation.

pray tell, what did the kid do?
In order of seriousness:
1) Participated in spring practice with Hahnville while still enrolled at VC.
2) Leased a temporary residence in Hahnville’s district while still having a permanent residence in Terrebonne and then using the temporary residence for enrollment.
3) Held himself out as a student at Hahnville while not being enrolled.

So, you are assuming (due to Robison family comments) that the coach is vindictive. Their words are the only evidence of that... and their words have been proven wrong on MANY fronts. The coach is part of our community as well.
When the dad got fired, I'm certain all involved knew the kid would leave! Is there really room for being vindictive there? There was no mystery about what would unfold and I would think the coach (assistant AD) would have known and been prepared for what was to come.
The family did not have anything negative to say until the ruling came down.. prior to that it was BEYOND glowing reviews of Andrew's time at VCHS and Coach. If it was a bad situation you would have said little or nothing! Would NOT praise!

Held himself out as a student at Hahnville while not being enrolled.

It may not be over...a few coaches and principals are pretty hot about comments salt made n air in reference to them.....and that could not bode well for HHS if hey have any other issues. Such as say kids living in Jefferson parish playing for HHS. Hypothetically of course......

Like I said I only know Andrew, and I believe what he said. I don't know Atwell, but I have been around a lot of coaches and they can be very vindictive when they want things to go their way... only speaking from my experiences with head coaches.

Yeah I heard that interview, and figured that would come back to haunt him either now or in the future. Salt is a pretty arrogant dude, so if he gets nailed again he probably with spout off again smh. "Hypothetically" LMAO as far as I know he lives on SCP and everything was legit, but hey who knows.
Oh and Andrew did not participate at Hahnville until summer workouts.

Couldn’t agree more with this statement. And the fault of that lies at Dad’s feet because he thought he was above the rules and when they were enforced, he went to the media and they have been pushing ever since.
I know he’s just fighting for his kid, but he has to realize that he screwed up and own it. All he wants to do is point fingers at LHSAA and Vandebilt instead of looking in the mirror

And our community has known the family for 3 years.

Well if you believe Salt's interview they can't because they don't have investigators in that area lol.

You may be right, but I gotta go by what I see and the have presented themselves as model citizens here( the kid at least).

Who says salt was right .....hey only have enough investigators to investigate when a principal makes a complaint as per policy
Funny they had enough investigators to catch 5 tema holding illegal practices in no a
couple of years back
And if you're gonna throw the Vc coach under the bus I don't think he's ever been fired from a school
So this went from
Nothing wrong was done, to its only a jersey , to its not the kids fault to the rules are stupid to the kid was bullied....
If that's not a deniers pattern I don't know what is.....

Why can only investigate when a complaint is made by a member school principal
Not a middles school principal coach or playground director.

Man, some of y'all seem to be taking this really personal. I never said Salt was right, I was joking... If there were no investigators in JP then Lambert would still be coaching and Starks would have never went back to MS.
I also know Salt is no Saint, if the shoe was on the other foot he might even be doing the same thing... who knows.
As far as the jersey, I think the coach was wrong (both of them) but it is an example of Atwell's vindictiveness and Salt's arrogance.
As far as the rule breaking... I read the transcripts, and I still think the bullying out way all of it.
The fact that they offered the kid to come back only speaks to how bad they didn't want him to leave, and like I said I have experience with coaches that try to put "pressure" on kids to get what they want.
Anyway it appears you guys have a lot of friends involved in this situation and are taking this personal, so good luck in the results of the case no matter what side of the case you stand on.
