How does someone like her not have medical insurance?
A week or longer in a hospital is not cheap
Plus if she had to have heart surgery or something major she would owe 6 figures

Anyway, back here on earth. Anyone around in 84 remembers she was the face of the US and a massive story that year. Way bigger than Simone Biles. Mary Lou holding that medal was literally everywhere.
She married former UT QB Shannon Kelly and had 4 kids but they’re now divorced (Which I didn’t realize). One daughter was a gymnast at LSU.
Prayers that she pulls through.

she just got divorced 5 years ago. Her ex-husband made a lot of money. She lives in a very nice house. LINK /
It is somewhat puzzling how someone who lives in a 9000 square foot home in a nice Houston suburb needs has a gofundme account set up for medical bills.
