Gregg henson is pretty legit. A detroit sports radio host who has been pretty damn accurate on most UM developments. pretty sure he was first person to say harb was coming to mich.

I’ve hesitated to write this even though I have mentioned it in passing on social media because I couldn’t confirm it with more than one source but I am now told by multiple sources that Jim Harbaugh and Michigan will mutually separate at the end of the season.

The same folks who FIRST told me Harbaugh was coming to Michigan tell me he is leaving at the end of the season.

Harbaugh has become disillusioned with the administration in Ann Arbor and their zeal to win. He wants to win more than the folks at the top and the continual drumbeat for him to “tone it down” have caused him to lose belief and passion in the schools passion to compete with Ohio State. This is obviously why the current Harbaugh isn’t the same guy who blew into Ann Arbor to resuscitate the Wolverines. It’s blatantly obvious he is not the same guy by his demeanor on the sidelines.

His bosses want to win, on their terms and that simply can’t happen with Ohio State killing it in Columbus. He can’t get some kids he wants and they do not want him making a spectacle of himself while trying to will the Wolverines to the top.

I’m told he has confided privately to some folks around the program that this isn’t his “Michigan” and he just can’t find it in himself to settle for 8, 9 or 10 wins a season. He wants more and his fire has gone out to fight the administration. Jim loves Michigan and wants to see it win big but the road blocks are to big and the University’s stomach is weak.

He'll likely take a year off, then head to the pros.

And who will they hire? Matt Campbell? Luke Fickells?

I see Luke Fickell having a ceiling similar to Harbaugh. He will be good for the 8 and 9 win seasons on the regular. Good defenses but an offense that can never seem to find consistency.

I still think the problem with Michigan is the administration and not the coaching

Michigan will get the same results with whomever they hire. It's not the program it once was, regardless what the media tells you.

What more does he want? He has the keys to the kingdom. Either he wants the green light to cheat or this is a BS excuse. Brian Kelly does better with more restrictions.

Do you think the administration is a problem? I know politics was an issue with RichRod, but if the university doesn't have the back of Harbaugh to win, nobody is going to have proper support.

I just don't believe this, sorry. Michigan regularly recruits top ten classes.

If Penn state and Wisconsin and even michigan state can get to the playoffs, why can't michigan?

Time for Michigan football to call it quits

Harbaugh made his own bed here with the absurd playcalling, but the admin doesn't help.

this is the same admin that wanted kirk ferentz after lloyd left.

Well, wisky is in the west. I just think Michigan needs to lower the academic standards or accept these results. Rich Rod mentioned this in a recent interview.

Sounds about right.

Harbaugh butts heads with his bosses then blames them. Did the same thing in SF.

Guys a fraud.

It's the right thing for him 2 do.

You can quote all these stats, but for the price Michigan is paying, they are not getting their moneys worth. And he's been horrendous vs the 2 teams they paid him the most to beat. Beating Michigan St is a huge deal.

Having sleep overs with the players and recruits was a key to him not getting the CFB scene.

Michigan has won 1 title in the last 72 years and even that's been 23 years ago. Maybe you're not "settling" for 10 wins anymore.

Michigan has two players from the Confederacy in their 2020 recruiting class.

Southern players are better no matter the recruiting rating. FACT
