Greg Norman basically confirms Tiger was offered $700M-$800M to play on Liv Tour

He just said it in an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Carlson asked him if reports were true that Tiger was offered 700-800 million and Norman said:
"That report was made before I was CEO of LIV, so I really don't know."
Carlson asked him again if Tiger was offered and if he was someone LIV under his leadership would have pursued, and Norman said:
"Obviously, you want to go after the big fish... And he's the biggest fish of them all. So, yeah, again, I wasn't the Chairman of LIV at the time, but that figure sounds about right."

If this is true, Tiger is a bigger moron than I thought, which doesn't seem possible.

When you have all the money you'll ever need.. what's the point?

Tiger has all the money he needs. He is the GOAT (2nd at worst). He worked his entire life for that. He doesn't want to join something that could potentially tarnish his legacy.
But damn, that's some money.

Dude, that’s almost a billion dollars.

Tiger is a different breed.
He’s got all the money in the world and is still out on one leg trying to compete. It’s not about the money for him, he’s got plenty of that. He would never join LIV.

Why do you think Tiger is a moron in the first place?
Also, I love that you’re mocking a billionaire’s decision on $.

He wanted to come back on the second tier tour (PGA) because of its ease
It makes sense to start low
Or he is scared

Nike and/or a combination of the PGA, Gatorade, etc obviously paid him not to take that offer.

Tiger doesn't need money....I think with all he's been through, he cares about his legacy...look at his lame arse apology about cheating. The fact that he actually bothered to apologize says everything.
Despite loving whores, he probably doesn't want to be remembered as an LIV whore.

That number seems absurd. I don’t see how they would even get close to a return on that kind of investment.

Where’s that one poster that’s adamant the LIV is a Saudi money laundering operation

Tiger Woods is already a billionaire. Why would he need 2 billion?

Middle East money is absurd.
Tiger would be there for basically one reason, validity and promotion. This is pennies to them. Shite Nike paid Tiger $40 million before he even played a single tournament on the PGA Tour.

They're buying Valvoline for 2.65B so yeah, Tiger is worth about 33% of Valvoline?
