I always laugh at people who think giving away your money is money laundering.

I'm not sure anyone thinks that.

The Saudis are playing on an uneven playing field. They care zero about making money and will absolutely never make a single penny at the rate they're spending. No one can compete with that.

The more money you have, the less value it has to you. Tiger is probably focused on spending as much time with Charlie as he can. He doesn't want Charlie to make the same mistakes he made, he probably trying to make sure he doesn't make the same mistakes with Charlie that Earl made with him. Dude is happy with his legend, his money, and his life. That accident could have killed him so he is probably milking every second he can get with his kids.

I bet Tiger doesn't hang out during the day posting on message boards like you do. He probably has more important things to do.

What argument is being made here?

Since you didn’t respond to this, I guess I’ll state a few things:

1. This isn’t true. Aramco is the biggest sponsor of the Ladies European Tour, which some LPGA Tour players play in (especially those events), but not the actual LPGA.
2. How does that have anything to do with the PGA Tour? The LPGA and PGA tour are different organizations. It’s not the same type of relationship as the NBA & WNBA.

I get the Ladies going and playing in Saudi Arabia. I just don’t know why we’re praising made up points that don’t have anything to do with the PGA Tour.

Putting his money where his mouth is. Same with Chuck

If only Lebron had the same morals maybe he wouldn't be property of the Chinese government

As crazy as this is to say, $800m would not be life-changing money to TW.

Maybe the thought of losing his business brand and legacy again is just more than he's willing to gamble.

Which is why I don't understand Phil's actions. The guy has lifetime endorsement deals that would have raked him in $100s of millions for the rest of his life. He took a one time huge pop, but probably hurt his earnings in the long run.

Phil was either in a really bad financial position or made another losing bet going to LIV.

Charles Barkly has been nothing but complimentary of LIV Golf from the start. He has gone on multiple sports shows and stated he would have no problem working for them. He just played in the LIV Golf Pro-Am and has readily negotiated with them in public. He stated, "if LIV Golf offered me 200 million, I would just ask, what relative do you want me to kill"?

Apparently, they didn't offer him 200 million.

Crazy how much over market value LIV has to go to lure players and commentators away. I'm sure Barkley got a pretty sweet offer, but obviously nothing close to what he wanted to make the jump. Guessing he figured he would lose his TNT deal.

He also mentioned that he makes 10 million yearly in endorsements and 10 million from TNT. He felt both would go away.

Charles has said he did not receive an offer from LIV, but he is welcome to play in their Pro-Am's whenever he wants.

If Tiger took the money and joined, wouldn’t that force the PGA tour’s hand in letting the LIV guys play in their tournaments? Do the LIV guys receiving the money have some sort of exclusivity contract with LIV where they can’t play in PGA events?
