What did he care about when he threw a pass 10 yards past the LOS in preseason?

Dude has a big mouth and is a punk bitch IMO. When Bama scored a TD to go up 21-0 over AU and he flipped off the Auburn fans before going to the sideline that pretty much made it obvious. Seriously, who does that? How many times do you see a player in his own stadium make a point of flipping off visiting fans while he is still on the field in the middle of a game?

Did you not see the video on youtube showing him doing "that" in other games? He didn't flip them off, it's how he twirls his mouth piece, you can see his mouth piece at the last second come into view, cuz he twirled it.

He should've flipped them off though. It's the biggest rivalry for a reason.

ESPN had a player X article about this a year ago or so. Player talked about how people would be shocked to find out how many players are there for the paycheck.

I dunno, but maybe you should check with some LSU players. They have been called for more chop blocks and gotten away with more than AU, so they appear to be the experts on the subject.

Dumbest thing posted this week.

Damn, I'm crushed. I know I go to work simply for the joy of being there. Compensation has nothing to do with it......NOTHING!

I hope this doesn't effect the Jets performance in the playoffs.

he really should keep his mouth shut.

Why? I thought it was good that he called them out.

“It’s definitely not a fun place to be, I can assure you,” McElroy said of the Jets’ locker room. “It’s the first time I’ve ever been around extremely selfish individuals. And I think that’s maybe the nature of the NFL. But there were people within our locker room that didn’t care whether we won or lost as long as they got theirs, they had a good game individually. And that’s the disappointing thing.”

Sounds like a team that is a direct reflection of it's head coach.

Man, I hope that the Jets can replace their third string QB. Probably worth it to speak out. Hopefully his convictions will keep him warm when he's pumping gas.
I think people forget two things: McElroy already has a degree with honors. He was working on a masters before going to the Jets. He could probably find a job making more than he is now

Secondly, McElroy is already rich. Like, private jet rich. Not like he stands to miss out on anything.

McElroy is being a leader. Being a QB comes with the leadership role, if those dumbasses are there to be selfish get them out. I'm tired of these idiots only playing for the paycheck. That is what is wrong with the NFL, no one cares anymore. It's about playing football, not making money. I'm glad GMAC is speaking up. He'd make a good starter (not Drew Brees or Tom Brady good, but Matt Ryan, or Eli Manning, or you know, an above average QB. Probably one of the more accurate passer in the league.) for the Jets, but I wouldn't blame him if he tried to find a team that still cares about football.

I'll defer to the bama folks knowledge on this. But it really sounds like McElroy's just calling them like he sees them.

The nature of pro sports. Some extremely talented people who don't give a shite and coast through life and their career. I am sure it's culture shock for a new pro.

See: the difference in production prior to and after a big contract extension.

This is often over stated and more of a big deal is made about it than should be. Often, there are other factors involved.

BTW, has anyone noticed the difference in Ryan Fitzpatrick's production before and after he signed his extension this season?
